Irish country music sensation, Nathan Carter will be heading to Australia this November courtesy of Troubadour Music.
One of the most successful live acts in Ireland and with three number 1 albums, 2 number 1 singles and two number 1 live DVDs to his name, Nathan Carter has become a household name in recent years – despite only being 26 years old.
The Irish star – born in Liverpool to Irish parents from County Down grew up listening to Country and Western Music from the likes of Johnny Cash, Don Williams and Dolly Parton and started playing instruments such as the accordion from the age of 4.
Irish country music star Nathan Carter is without a doubt the most successful live act across the venues of Ireland at this moment in time. With three number one albums, two number one singles, and two number one live DVD’s under his belt, he has been elevated to household name status in recent years.
Like Bob Dylan’s ‘Never Ending Tour’, Nathan was jumping out on stage every week for over 3 years throughout Ireland, when almost from nowhere, at least to the Irish national media, his single release of the Bob Dylan song ‘Wagon Wheel’ hit the number one spot in the Irish music charts. The secret was out, and Nathan rapidly moved from the dance halls to the city halls, with live audiences of 2 – 5,000 fans.
Nathan Carter is hailed as the catalyst that has brought back Country Music to Ireland, and he’ll be touching down at venues nationally across Australia this November during his Australian tour.
