New Label Casper&Pearl Produce Pants For National Breast Cancer Foundation Awareness Campaign
New label Casper&Pearl have undertaken a novel fundraising campaign for the National Breast Cancer Foundation. A single pair of one-size-fits-all pants have travelled between friends across the globe who have blogged and photographed their experience of wearing them.
The shorts are set to become available to buy at the end of the month and 100% of the profits will be donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The up and coming label’s creator, Stacey Hendrickson is passionate about raising money for the foundation due to the effects that cancer has had on those closest to her.
Hendrickson said: “My Nanna has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, my Mum has been battling cancer for over 10 years and my Dad recently passed away after losing his fight with cancer.
“Raising awareness and funds for cancer research is very close to my heart and is something I am proud to be able to do through my label. About two weeks before my Dad passed away, when my Nanna was diagnosed, I told him about my idea for this campaign and he was so supportive that it makes this all the more special to me.”
The label is tipped to be Australia’s best new designer having featured in national publications and international blogs.
