New Music In January 2013

We’re elated to announce that January 2013 is already bringing some excellent new music to the table.

Awaiting the release of Villagers new album ‘{Awayland}’ they’re already releasing some great tracks, so look out for the album review in the February issue of BBM Live Magazine.

Devendra Banhart will also be dropping a new album in Autumn, but is opening up 2013 with new single ‘Für Hildegard von Bingen’, which is paving the way for a great new album ‘Mala’. Word on the street that Everything Everything will be releasing a brand new album next week after a two year hiatus, which is apparently going to be a cross between Dirty Projectors and Destiny’s Child, so as soon as we’ve heard it, we’ll let you know how that pans out!

We’re also loving Mykki Blanco for our Hip Hop needs, so make sure you check out his new mixtape ‘Princess’.

There’s also new releases from Yo La Tengo with ‘OHM’ if you fancy something summery and dreamy. And of course the biggest news this week was David Bowie’s brand new single ‘Where Are We Now’ which has shocked fans everywhere!
