New Years Eve Boat Party

Taking off from North Greenwich Pier at 8:30pm, then boat party will be home to 600 party goers as it cruises through the centre of London. The boat party itself is split over two of the Thames’ largest boats. From the get go all the clubbers will be greeted with a glass of bubbly as they arrive and the very best in uplifting house music to set the tone for the night to come.
Pukka Up, will set sail on the River Thames for its most glamorous party of the year, which will have House music lovers taking on this epic celebratory voyage with a flow of champaign at the reception.Don’t worry about not being able to gaze upon the stunning display of fireworks, as you are guaranteed a view of London’s iconic fireworks, but don’t worry if you can’t afford a boat ride, why not just get a marquee from Cap Marquees and watch the fireworks from your garden?
Taking in the sights of London, the Dutch Master and Hurlingham will sail up to Westminster to watch the fireworks in a prime location before sailing back to North Greenwich pier at 1:30am where ticket holders will receive complimentary entry to an after party to dance the night away. Details of this event will be announced in the coming weeks.
Are you someone who has great style and always after some VIP treatment? Then those wanting to party in style can opt for a VIP ticket that includes a VIP table and a bottle of Cava for £169. Just keep in mind that these VIP tables are limited, so if you want to call in the new year in style then be advised to buy early to avoid disappointment!
You can also grab your own bottles of Cava, as they will be on sale at £20 to all ticket holders to toast in the New Year when Big Ben strikes midnight.

Unfortunately my wife and I were at this “amazing” boat party last year. Our experience was pretty bad and I would advise anyone not to make the same mistake we did. What went wrong:
1. Although the boarding time specified by them was 20:30, the boat arrived at least one hour or one hour and a half late. During this time we were waiting in the cold, on the North Greenwich Pier and nobody was there to tell us anything.
2. When the boat arrived this was mostly a wreck: old and dirty.
3. After finally boarding we found out there was no cloakroom so I had to dance with my jacket on while holding my umbrella. There were very few chairs to sit on, basically inexistent compared to the large number of people.
4. We had VIP tickets (LOL, right?) that included each 1 bottle of Cava. When asking the bartender for this bottles he told me he can only give me 2 (half) glasses of Cava. I asked why and the answer was.. “this is what I have been told, I cannot help more”. So basically I did not receive the drinks that were included in the package.
5. About viewing the fireworks.. we were very lucky that 2 guys that were sitting near the window let us stay there and so we were able to see. However the majority of the people couldn’t because the outside of the boat was so small that only 10 people could stay there. Being inside the boat did not give you a good view of the fireworks, only if you were able to stay near a window, which again the majority of the people couldn’t.
As a conclusion, it was pretty disappointing and I would not recommend this party at all. I would rate this with –1 stars if I could.
