Bat and Ball hotel is a former Duke of Cleveland hotel that was built in 1929. The hotel has been renovated and is full of fascinating interior and was always a favourite drinking venue for local sporting clubs. The Bat & Ball is located on the corner of Cleveland and South Dowling streets just a short walk from the well-known SCG, the Sydney Football Stadium, the Hordern Pavilion and Randwick Racecourse. The Bat and Ball is right near the sporting grounds, so it’s the ideal place to go after Test cricket, rugby league, rugby union, AFL, and one-day cricket matches.

What to Expect at Bat and Ball

Inside Bat and Ball, they have a large London Underground network map on one end and a dartboard on the other and several mounted TV screens showing different sports channels. The menu is reasonably widespread for a pub and there are weekly specials as well. Apart from the Sunday roast, most weeknights they offer a $11.90 special meal. The Happy Hour is between 4 and 6 pm Monday to Friday. You will get to experience consistent quality meals at Bat & Ball.
