Hayes Theatre

Hayes theatre in Sydney promotes young innovative artists, and also provides a permanent location in Sydney for New Musicals and the Sydney Cabaret Festival. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Kings Cross Station. Hayes theatre offers a range of performances, from re-imagined classic musicals, new work from Australia and overseas, cabaret, and children’s productions. Hayes put on musicals from previous decades so it’s a great opportunity to see these musicals for people you have never seen them. The shows are produced on such a small stage but it’s amazing how they use the space.

Capitol Theatre

Capitol Theatre is situated in Campbell Street, Haymarket. Capitol Theatre is a gorgeous old theatre that has an authentic feeling of 40’s and 50’s Hollywood musicals, with musicals being adapted from Disney movies such as ‘Aladdin’, ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’ and ‘Frozen’. It also hosts world class musicals, theatre, ballet, concerts and performers. The beautiful carvings and lush atmosphere makes the whole experience a real pleasure.

Riverside Theatres Parramatta

Riverside Theatres is a multi-venue performing arts centre. You can find Riverside Theatres in the midst of Church Street Restaurant precinct. The theatre is approximately a 10-minute walk from Parramatta Train Station. Larger scale productions including international acts are often seen on the Riverside stage.

Ensemble Theatre

The Ensemble Theatre was introduced in 1958 by Hayes Gordon, it is known as Australia’s longest continuously running professional theatre company. The theatre is set on the water overlooking the harbor with a bar and a bistro attached, both of which has amazing views over the water.

The State Theatre

The State Theatre is located in the heart of downtown Sydney, was opened on 7th June 1929 and has been an integral part of the social and cultural fabric of Sydney ever since. The State Theatre is an iconic national treasure that plays the most cutting edge national and international theatre and music productions. You can purchase tickets in person at the State Theatre Box Office (open Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm, and two hours prior to performances)

Sydney Lyric Theatre

At Sydney Lyric Theatre you get to experience musicals, theatre, concerts, opera and ballet. The theatre is part of the Star Casino complex. It is a mid-size theatre with good seating and acoustics. Sydney Lyric has an over 15-year history of welcoming legendary performers from all over the world such as Bon Jovi, Michael Crawford, Julio Iglesias, Elton John and Stevie Wonder.
