Earlier this year Light Year played their first show at Roxanne Parlour’s After Dark Social Club. That same night, Light Year asked if they could play again at After Dark Social Club on the biggest night of the year, New Years Eve! Following their unstoppable run of godlike tours worldwide, Light Year has made themselves a reputation of partying hard like no others.
From the demure suburbs of East Sydney comes a beast donning a jetpack and straddling a kick drum that can be felt from hear to Antarctica. Born in 2009 (year of the Ox) Light Year attained all the qualities needed to become a successful dance troupe. Founded on adverse ideals and very uncommon habits, Light Year brings a sound to any party which will surely get you pumped and jumping till you can’t jump no more.
