One Love Festival 2015
This year on 4th – 6th September, the unique and heartfelt One Love Festival brings the message of Bob Marley’s 1978 concert to the people.
The message is described as “a unity, a bond between the brother man and women. A common purpose regardless of religion, race and creed – “PEACE + LOVE” to all mankind.” The 8-year-young cultural melting-pot of an event certainly lives up to its philosophy, as it is one of the UK’s most diverse music festivals.
Proclaimed the UK’s No.1 Reggae and Dub Camping Festival, One Love also plays conscience roots along with a range of sub genres. Featuring this year will be the likes of Third World, Mykal Rose, Twinkle Brothers, Etana, The Maytones, Stone Love Meets Saxon, Dennis Bovell, Mad Professor and Little Roy.
The completely environmentally-friendly fiesta relies on free trade and also features a range of food stalls, artwork and workshops. Here you can find enjoy the best of both worlds: the benefits of a large-scale popular music event combined the the intimacy of an independent-minded, family-friendly occasion.
All the early tickets have already been snatched up, but remaining tickets are selling for up to £130 for Weekend Camping, but the love birds among you can save yourselves 40 quid with the ‘For The One You Love’ discount deal.
“One Love, One heart, One destiny.” Guess who.
