One To Watch: Jamieson

Jamieson is an artist that all you Hip Hop purists out there will love. After he made his way back onto the UK urban scene earlier this year with ‘Trying To Be Me’, he now sets the stage for his upcoming EP with the release of the lead track of the same name ‘Nothing To Lose’. Jamieson takes us back to that 90’s Hip Hop vibe with his witty humour and lyrical dexterity – you could say he a little like a British Eminem.

This London born and bred rapper is now based in New York where he moved to several years ago to pursue his career, in his words ‘if I could make it there, I could make it anywhere’. Jamieson has gained support from some of the biggest tastemakers in US and UK hip hop such as XXL Magazine, SBTV and industry heavyweight RZA (Wu Tang Clan) and has supported the likes of Sean Kingston, Akon, and Mobb Deep.

His latest single ‘Nothing To Lose,’ taken from his fourth studio EP with the same name is due out in the spring, so if you’re an fan cheeky rap lyrics and a heavy drum let instrumental than this EP might be just right for you.
