One To Watch: Real Lies

Emerging in 2013, Real Lies embodies what it is to be young. The London trio is being heralded as a brave new voice in Electronic Pop and a recreation of the sound of the early ’90s Manchester Dance scene.

Breaking onto the scene with ‘Deeper’ and ‘World Peace’, tracks that distinctively combine surging bass with mellow undertones, Real Lies are the epitome of London. With a Local Hero-produced track entitled ‘North Circular’, an ode to the 25.7-mile stretch of road that crosses North London, Real Lies have already made a name for themselves evoking a heady combination of suburban dreams and urban realities.

With a video by filmmaker Rollo Jackson, a debut AA-sided vinyl single on Marathon Artists and a string of riotous first live shows, Real Lies are just about set to take over with their incredible sound.
