Recent migration new which may impact on your migration plan to Australia.
The Australian government has recently published new occupational ceilings for the general skilled migration program for 2016 to 2017.

The ceiling limits have been decreased in some cases and increased in other cases and remain the same in some instances.

Ceilings have been increase for the following occupations:
Engineers, Medical practitioners, air conditioning and refrigeration mechanics, solicitors, psychologists, physiotherapists, registered nurses, medical laboratory scientists, chefs, plasterers and wall and floor tilers.

There has been a ceiling reduction for most IT professionals and civil engineers, architects, metal fitters, social workers, panel beaters, health and welfare service managers.
Accountants are to stay at the current level in the 2016 /2017
