Oval Space Cinema Club – F*ck For Forest Documentary – 23rd April 2013
Last chance to get your tickets for ‘F*ck for Forest,’ the award-winning feature documentary by Michal Marczak.
Based on the idea that sex can save the world, Berlin’s Fuck For Forest is an NGO raises money for their environmental cause by selling home-made erotic films on the internet. Meet Danny, a troubled soul, as he accidentally discovers this exuberant, neo-hippy world where sexual liberation merges with global altruism, and joins their already colourful operation. From the streets of Berlin to the depths of the Amazon, together they are on a planet-saving mission to buy a piece of forest and save the indigenous peoples from the sick, sick West.
A recent review by The UpComing describes perfectly what to expect…
“The cinematography beautifully captures the raw emotions behind the seemingly bizarre actions of the cast. The poetic visual style affects the entire outlook of the film, putting the viewer on an often awkward, but empathetic level with these people. It allows you to laugh or be stunned at their way of life, but at the same time find some understanding with their spiritual outlook and true belief in making a difference to the world.”
