With Peats Ridge having released their 2012 line up to rave reviews, tickets have gone fast, with the festival’s most requested artist John Butler Trio performing the New Year’s Eve midnight set in the stunning surrounds of Glenworth Valley. The Festival getting more exciting every year, those that don’t want to miss out are advised to buy tickets as soon as bloody possible!

Festival Director Matt Grant said “This year is going to be an amazing for Peats, and with John Butler trio headlining, we are expecting tickets to go quicker than ever before”.  Last year saw more than 10,000 people attend Peats each day, while the festival reached number one on YouTube’s music channel in Australia, and this year is expected to be no different.

There is an amazing array of acts on offer from Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, through the Black Seeds, Friendly Fires DJ set, Blood Red Shoes, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Sydney Hip Hop acts, the Daily Meds, The Herd and Tuka of the Thundamentals.

Peats Ridge also has an amazing history of discovering new talent, and has launched the careers of some of Australia’s top acts. This year will be no different, with new musicians being given the chance to share their sounds and festival goers the chance to hear them across one of their many stages.

Now in its 9th year, the 2012 version of Peats Ridge promises to be full of amazing performances, artistic moments and workshops that will take you out of your shell and possibly out of this world. A total immersion experience, there is always something happening in the Valley, from bands through to art instillations, kooky venues, multimedia monuments, theatre, dance, drum circles and oh so much more.

General tickets are available from the Peats Ridges Festival website with adult season passes costing $340.
So come and join the Peats family this summer for the festival experience of a lifetime!
