Travel Kalbarri
Perth to Kalbarri Tours Bus or coach via Geraldton and Kalbarri National park
The Kalbarri region is a popular family holiday destination, as well as for its water-based and land-based attractions. Kalbarri National Park, located where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean, offers a soaring river and various walking paths, as well as notable monuments such as Nature’s Window and the Kalbarri Skywalk.
From July to September, you may see over 1000 types of wildflowers and swim in protected swimming holes like the Blue Holes. If you have the luxury of leisure, the drive from Perth to Kalbarri offers plenty of interesting stops to revel in and slow down the pace. If you take the picturesque Indian Ocean Drive out of Perth, the trip takes about seven hours.
PERTH TO GERALDTON
The first stop is the Pinnacles in Nambung National Park. Wander among these ancient limestone formations as they rise out of the desert. Nambung national park also includes beaches like Kangaroo Point and Hangover Bay, as well as coastal dunes and flowering plants in low heathland areas.
GERALDTON TO DENHAM
The next day we can stop at Kalbarri National Park where we can see the amazing Murchison Gorge and Nature’s Window formation. It is possible to have a swim in the Murchison River before walking through the gorge, marveling at the spectacular colors and rock formations. Banksias, grevilleas, kangaroo paws, and red-blossomed eucalypts abound across the landscape.
Amazing Kalbarri
Perth to Kalbarri Tours. Breath-taking panoramas? Relaxing beaches? Dramatic Aussie landscapes?
If you came to Australia because of the postcards and the photos in Lonely Planet, then Kalbarri’s the perfect escape.
Situated six hours north of Perth, where the Murchison River meets the Indian Ocean, the town of Kalbarri (and the nearby Kalbarri National Park) is one of Australia’s most popular holiday resorts.
On the water in and around Kalbarri
On-water activities include water ski-ing, kayaking, or hiring paddleboats, dinghies, and windsurfers on the river foreshore. There’s also some pretty freaky geological formations in the form of The Z Bend, The Loop, and Hawks Head.
Throw in some spectacular red rock gorges, migrating whales, frolicking dolphins, rugged coastal cliffs, colourful wildflowers, pure white sandy beaches and near-permanent sunny weather. There’s not much else you could want from a holiday destination. There is no better way to experience destinations on the west coast like Kalbarri other than Perth to Broome Tours.
