Petit at the Oval Space Music on the Terrace Sunday 11th August 2013
The Oval Space ‘Music on the Terrace’ series continues in style as Petit (pronounced the French way) is the next independent label to appear in East London.
On Sunday 11th August the Petit label that consists of musicians, writers and artists from major worldwide cities, including London, Berlin and New York will be gracing the Oval Space with their presence. Their label proudly specialises in vinyl-only and limited edition art – including the famous Everybody In The Face screen print. Their releases are hand picked especially to stand-out with a love of analogue sounds, epitomised by Rob Shields their innovative producer.
Label boss Oli Petit will join Rob Shields and the talented artist El_Txef_A (pronounced ‘el-cheffa’) who is continuously seeking a high quality output. El_Txef_A has enjoyed great success with the releases of Slow Dancing in a Burning Room. To add to the evening of diverse and cultured entertainment Petit will be joined by Rampue, the rapidly rising ‘Keta-Disco’ producer to celebrate his upcoming release.
Up on the terrace amidst the gas works of Bethnal Green and East London atmosphere, the next Sunday afternoon in the Oval Space Music series is sure to be a day to remember for live music. Tickets are £10-£15, with a promise of Pimms and Campari cocktails on the menu.
