Pub Deals In Sydney This January If You’re A Bit Skint
After Christmas and New Year’s, you’re probably never more strapped for cash, but that doesn’t mean you have to stay in. There are some great deals to be found in Sydney’s best pubs, so you can still head out and have fun this January.
Porterhouse
Our favourite Irish pub in Sydney has continued its food and drinks deals into 2015 with something every day of the week. If you’re not doing dry January, you can enjoy the $7 pints of Kilkenny, Guinness and Magners, and $15 jugs of New, Carlton and XXXX Gold.
If you’ve gotten over Christmas dinner, why not treat yourself to the Chef’s Special on Monday, beef & Guinness pie on Tuesday, chicken schnitzel on Wednesday, rump steak of Thursday or chicken curry on Friday, all $12?
The deals continue on the weekend with $12 beef or chicken schnitzel burger, and the beef or lamb Sunday roast for $15.

Parkside Bar
A super cool local, Parkside Bar at The Bat & Ball Hotel has some smashing specials from the grill. Their famous All You Can Eat Hot Wings will save you from Monday evening hunger at just $9.90, with $9.90 burgers on Tuesday and steaks on Wednesday at the same price. Thursdays are all about Big Daddy’s BBQ Platter with baby back ribs, hot wings, pulled pork and fried chicken plus sides for $15, and Fridays end the working week with beer and wine at $5 a pop, but be quick – it’s only from 5-7pm.
