Pure Pie & Mash In Sydney
As the winter months move in, as does our love for pies, mash and all things warming. It’s not just Brits that have a passion for pies, the Aussies know exactly how to put on a good spread. As a toasty treat, head to any of the following Pie shops where there’s so much choice, the only thing you know you definitely want in your pie is your facehole. So go on, get those chops at the ready and love every moment of it. We’ve eaten our way around Sydney like the fat bastards that we are and sampled every pie available, and here are the pastry based conclusions we came to, so enjoy this pure pie pleasure.
YARDHOUSE
Hide away from the city center at The Yardhouse with a pie on your plate and beer in your hand. Their beef and ale pot pie is definitely one to shout about. With creamed potatoes, peas and gravy, it’s a pie in the sky and served all day long.

INFINITY SOURDOUGH BAKERY
Pies taste amazing sober, but they taste even better after a few bevies. This place is one dedicated bakery, baking bread and pies around the clock for its ever-growing fan base. Perfect to grab solo or with a big group of mates as you wander through Victoria St on the way home after a night on the town.
Their selection of baked beauties is incredible- they’re primarily famous for their sourdough bread (don’t let the name dissuade you), no matter what time of day you swing by, there is always something to tickle your fancy.

HARRY’S CAFE DE WHEELS
How does chunky lean beef pie served with mushy peas, mash & gravy sound? Like a dirty dream we’d concur. Pies in velvet dresses with wings and halos. Their menu is just a little overwhelming, it makes your mouth water just looking at those sexy tanned pastry numbers. Harry knows how to do it best and with Harry’s Café De Wheels all over Sydney, there’s no excuse to not give it a go. From curry to seafood to chicken and mushroom – even the fussiest of pie punters will love this place.
