Purity Ring Splendour In The Grass Sideshows

Purity Ring, renowned for their highly visual performances and eclectic style, will play two headline dates when visiting Australia for the sold-out Splendour In The Grass festival, appearing at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Friday 24th July and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Monday 27th July.

A rep for mystical melodies, tamed beats and beautiful blurred lyrics, the Canadian duo of Megan James and Corin Roddick, broke through with 2012’s debut album ‘Shrine’, which was followed by a second album, the successful ‘Another Eternity’, in February of this year.

Both albums receiving accolades globally, and Pitchfork naming ‘Another Eternity’ “Compulsively listenable”, Purity Ring deliver sounds that are on a deeper level, and bring out the best in indie music.

Their atmospheric live shows are some of the most faultless productions in contemporary music. Performing the songs of ‘Another Eternity’ in Australia for the first time, Purity Ring will be joined by special guests at both shows, which will be announced shortly.
