R Kelly Returns With Digital Farm Animals: ‘Wanna Know’

R Kelly is back with a twist! The legendary RnB singer has returned to feature on Digital Farm Animals new single ‘Wanna Know’. This is R.Kelly’s first feature since the release of his late 2015 album ‘The Buffet’. 

London based dance extraordinaire Digital Farm Animals have previously made music with Netsky, Dua Lipa, Louis Mattrs and many more, however this latest venture is surely the largest to date. Recruiting the legend that is R Kelly for vocal duties, he brings with him a smooth vocal not often seen on top of a house beat. Don’t let this fool you though, DFA has absolutely nailed this one, merging their EDM cut sound with Kellys heavenly vocals.

The song sees Kelly calling out for love on the dance floor with lyrics like; “Ohh, I heard you changed the tempo/ Ohh, baby I did not get the memo/ Cuz I know you remember lat time it went down”. With the club version of the song already gaining huge support from various tastemakers such as; Pete Tong and Danny Howard, adding R Kellys vocals is surely going to put these guys firmly on the map.

Having been around the game for some 25 years, Kelly has released 12 solo albums and sold over 100 million records worldwide he is a name any producer would be proud to add to their tracks.   DFA has already produced remixes for the likes of Icona Pop and Lilly Allen, but is still building his extensive body of work with upcoming projects with Will I AM and Anne Marie on the horizon.
