The beach at Rainbow Bay is patrolled all year round and has a great sheltered swimming area close to shore, making it a popular spot for families. You can hire a surfboard so getting going can’t be easier. Drop Bear travel company has an amazing team of surf coaches, which provide their service throughout the year. 

Rainbow Beach Surf School

You can have the chance for a surf learning experience in a supportive and relaxed environment. Drop Bear travel offer surf-skate training sessions to improve your surfing performance and skills. Drop Bear offers surfing lessons for all age groups with in-depth surf coaching. You will learn to do skating on the roads before you step on a surfboard.

Small Group Surf Learning Programs

It is only cost you $42 per two hours surf learning session at the Rainbow beach in Queensland. These group surfing lessons run daily with four participants per class.  You will learn from an ASI Accredited Surf Coach who will teach you safety, skills, and ‘how-to’ on the beach before you take to the water to try your hand at surfing.  

Kids Surf Learning Programs

The winter holiday program offers surf lessons, surf-skate workshops, and stand up paddle boarding. This school holiday program is for kids from 8-16 years of age. This is a 3-day session for ongoing surf coaching and lots of practice, skills, and progressions to get experienced.
