Re.You Locked In For Australian Visit

Germany’s Re.You will make his way to Australia for three dates next week.

The Berlin-based artist has been making huge waves of late with a prolific release schedule and highly fun-charged DJ sets. He also features in live sets alongside fellow German, Rampa, widely considered to be one of the more energetic performances on the global circuit.

After a very brutal knee injury ended a promising basketball career, Re.You got involved with the world of turntablism through the hip-hop beats of DJ Premier. He began to teach himself production, and quickly fell in in with the Keinemusik crew around ’09. Not long after he joined the Souvenir label crew (the label run by the Tiefschwarz brothers) on which he released the 2011 single ‘Ghost’. Featured on Sven Väth’s  2011 Sound Of the Season compilation. Now aligned with Anja Schneider’s Mobilee Records crew, Re.You is possibly best know for his remix of Lana Del Rey’s introspective single ‘ Video Games’ which clocked over 50 000 plays in one week.

The tour will kick off in Perth on Friday the 30th of September at Geisha Bar, after which it will head to Sydney the very next day for the Nights Like This crew at the newly opened Goodbar. Finally, the German will finish the tour in Melbourne at Pawn and Co. on Sunday the 2nd of October.
