Katchafire have barely set foot in their homeland since the release of their platinum selling, fourth studio album ‘On The Road Again’. A nonstop 2012 has seen the legendary Aotearoa roots rockers smash a mammoth 25 date headline tour of the USA and Hawaii, selling out iconic venues such as House of Blues and The Mezzanine, and a headline tour of Brazil. While over in the UK, the band have been nominated for Best International Band at the British Reggae Music Awards. Returning to Australia for the second time this year they are sure to put on a killer show for their Reggaetown fans.

All the way from Jamaica, international award winning Gramps Morgan will be making a very special debut Australian appearance. The release of Gramps’ first album proceeded with performances on a string of high profile tours with John Legend (Evolver), India Arie (Soulbird) and Buju Banton (Rasta’s Got Soul). With the latter, Gramps also netted Grammy status with credits as a co-producer, writer and lead vocalist on the song ‘Try Life’ on Banton’s 2010 ‘Reggae Album of the Year’ Before The Dawn. When one considers that Gramps has already sold millions of records as a regal member of the internationally renowned Reggae band Morgan Heritage, it is only natural that his solo endeavours would also be grand.

Get ready for a very special production with Rize Of The Morning Star (more info to come). While the Pacific grooves, afro rhythms, smooth harmony & good vibes of QLD’s latest vibrant offering BOBBY ALU bring a fresh sound to the festival. Zennith our local favourites, will be returning and J Mo & 3 Beans 5 will be heading north from Sydney town. Sound systems will be pumping with the likes of Sista Itations, Tuff Tumas & Kanaka. So get your dance on!
