Regression Sessions Announces The Red Light Apocalypse 7-City Tour
The recent release of Regression Sessions hotly anticipated autumn/winter 2016 theme and 13-date programme is here to offer some post-summer consolation.
The biggest and craziest party in London will be touring all over the UK, having now confirmed events in London, Bristol, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Sheffield.
The Autumn/Winter programme’s theme has also been revealed as ‘The Red Light Apocalypse’ with parties transporting crowds to a dystopian Red Light District, torn apart by a brutal Apocalypse. To improve the inevitable horror a number of top class DJs have been called in to spin an on-point selection of house, techno, disco and DnB.
The Red Light Apocalypse parties will feature performances from Audiojack, Subb-an, and Adam Shelton, to name a few. Kicking off on 23rd September at Motion Bristol the series is heading to the finest clubbing venues in the UK including the raw warehouse Canal Mills in Leeds and the unique space Antwerp Mansion, in Manchester. Other venues include Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh, SWG3 in Glasgow, Plug in Sheffield as well as Fire and a warehouse site yet to be announced, both in London.
Each event will be shaped around the end of the world concept, with elaborate and gruesome props and costumes, walkabout entertainers, face painting, and a bombardment of inflatables and confetti. Organisers are promising out of this world production; after this Regression Sessions tour is over it may as well be the end of the world as nothing will ever top these parties. A special Halloween party will feature appearances from One Records members Adam Shelton and Subb-an, and is due to take place on October 28th. This will take place at Great Suffolk Street Warehouse (Regression’s biggest party to date), and this extra specially terrifying night is sure to be a major highlight of the tour.
In the coming weeks even more names are to be announced as part of the UK tour’s line up, and to finish the year with a bang Regression Sessions will be returning to RISE Festival in Les Deux Alpes in December.
