Respect Jamaica 50
Respect Jamaica 50 celebrates 50 years of Jamaican Independence at The O2 and its multiple venues, including indigO2, as London is transformed into a Caribbean oasis with over 50 artists taking to the stage.
The line-up includes Damian Marley, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Jimmy Cliff, Junior Murvin, Shaggy, Tappa Zukie and Mutabaruka.
The two-week extravaganza, from July 25 to August 6, will include a multitude of legendary Jamaican singers, DJs, writers, comedians, actors and poets showcasing the cultural depth and diversity of the nation.
All key Olympic events will be screened at the venues to ensure none of the action is missed, including Jamaica’s hotly anticipated gold medal run.
