Retro Gaming Night With The Flatmates
Well known for their quirky approach to, well, everything! The Little Yellow Door will on Wednesday, 19th August take their guests on a trip down memory lane with a Retro Gaming Night with the Flatmates welcoming back the best of the 90’s.
Think Mario Kart, Goldeneye, Sonic and Fifa and get involved like it’s 1999. Players will get to dust off their most impressive PlayStation 1, Xbox and Nintendo 64 skills, while enjoying killer food and cocktails made for champs. The games will be shown on large projectors, and guests can sign up in teams of four with a one-hour time slot on two consoles (30 min on each). One person from each team will be sent through to the grand finale, where the best gamers will compete for the ultimate prize: unlimited bragging rights AND a £100 bar tab.
For £80, entry is included for four people, and each team will also get a large fish tank sharer, plus a mouth-watering selection of TLYD’s best bar food, courtesy of the famous Wandering Chef.
Since the quirky pop-up bar, based on a fictional flatshare, opened its Little Yellow Door in October 2014, it has rapidly become a West London institution, and the infamous house parties have seen queues lining up far down Notting Hill Gate. They recently created their very own indoor garden and their popular Friday dinners tends to get booked up weeks in advance. It’s the only London venue where bookings can be made via What’s App, and it’s true what they say: “Visiting The Little Yellow Door, you may arrive with three friends and leave with ten…”
