Rock To Rock In The Red Centre

Follow us on Google News

Meet the ruggedly handsome residents of the Red Centre on this four-day adventure. Uluru, Kings Canyon and The Olgas beckon travellers from all over the world to Australia’s Red Centre. Some of the oldest, most striking and mysterious rock formations, The Rock To Rock Tour with Mulgas Adventures introduces you to all three of these beauties.

Beginning from Ayers Rock Airport, your first stop is the Cultural Centre for a taster of the flora, fauna and Aboriginal culture of the Red Centre. Then, it’s straight to Uluru (otherwise known as Ayers Rock) for a long walk and a glass of bubbles while you and your new friends enjoy the view of the sunset. After dinner around a campfire, you get to experience camping in the outback in an Aussie swag.

Rise early on day two to catch the sight of Uluru during sunrise, and then get ready for another outback wonder: The Olgas. Also called Kata Tjuta, these uneven domes are spectacular. Thought to once be shaped liked Uluru, it’s thought they’ve weathered over millions of years to become 36 separate formations. After a hike through the Valley of the Winds to get closer to The Olgas, you return to Uluru for a guided base walk to ask any questions you may have. It’s then onto Kings Creek Station – your accommodation for another night under the stars.

A hike around Kings Canyon is the star attraction on day three, as you get to take in the sheer size of this mighty oasis. Returning to Kings Creek Station, you can choose to add on an incredible activity at an extra cost, from a ride on a camel, a quad bike or helicopter! Leaving one station for another, you make your way to Curtain Springs Station just in time for sunset and your final night. With a quick breakfast on the morning of day four, you have to make your way back to Ayers Rock to say goodbye to your Mulgas buddies.

From $395pp, the Rock To Rock Tour with Mulgas Adventures includes camp accommodation, transport, meals, an experienced guide and a glass of bubbles beside Uluru.
