Individually the members who make up Rockboy come together to produce something that is very exciting in the music industry. With huge successes throughout their careers, Rockboy’s founder Lyra teamed with Pontus Hjelm are taking on a new challenge which has lead them to fuse two genres together.

If you’re not familiar with the group then you won’t be let down when you give them a listen. Rockboy is made up of four very talented artists who in their own right can hold their own in such a tough industry to break into. Each member of the band have found their own levels success within the music industry.

Pontus is the outstanding Rock producer who can boast an amazing career where he was the founder of the pop metal band Dead By April and reached great success when signing to Warner Bros And Universal Records internationally. Hejlm is just one impressive talent that is part of one super group and it is exciting to see what developments are to be heard in 2015.

One noteble fact about Lyra is that he’s had a special mentor in recent years. A certain Mr. Knowles, yes it’s no coincidence that this man shares the same last name as Beyonce. Her father took the budding rapper under his wing. He was able to buuild on his craft as a musical prodigy when he spent time at Mr. Knowles’ home in Houston, Texas.

Lyra is an established rapper and performer who has proven himself over and over in the UK and has previously garnered support from platforms such as stations like BBC Radio 1, MTV, The Box, Capital and Kiss FM. His musical ability was picked out by MTV, who named him as an act to watch out for bakc in 2012. Lyra has been given the opportunity to support international superstars such as Chris Brown, Sean Kingston, Dead by April, The Game and many other great names in the game.
