Secret Bridesmaids’ Business is a tale of secrets and lies on the eve of a wedding and the dilemma faced by a group of bridesmaids wanting to tell the truth but are aware that it could ruin the bride’s big day.
The play, written by Elizabeth Coleman and directed by Mary Wolfa, succeeds in placing the audience in the quandary with the question of whether telling the truth is always the right thing to do.
US born Mary Wolfa has lived in Australia since 2006 initially moving to Sydney before taking up residence in Perth to work as education and admin officer for Buzz Dance Theatre. Secret Bridesmaids’ Business is on at Old Mill Theatre in Perth throughout February 2013.
