Secret Garden Party Hit With Lightening Strike

A major art installation featuring in Cambridgeshire’s Secret Garden Party was destroyed by lightening on Monday night.

The Lake Stage was damaged at around 2am during the brutal storm, which also gave the garden a good soaking. Event organiser Fred Fellowes questioned whether they were ‘inviting trouble by having the theme “Superstition” this year.

Fortunately, the weather forecast for the weekend is looking promising. Let’s just hope the other gardens stay in one piece in the meantime.
