Serge Devant New EP Inspired By Thailand

There’s one thing that superstar DJ’s and producers get to do all year round that seems totally unfair, and that’s travel! Although, it can be good for inspiration as Serge Devant points out with his new release ‘The Way You Move / Intentions’.
Serge elaborates on how the EP came to be “This EP was inspired by a recent trip to Thailand where I did a bunch of interesting field recordings. On the track ‘Intentions’ you can hear anything from the gong meditation ceremony that I had pleasure of attending, to a rusty drain and sounds of the rainy night in the jungle all combined in this hypnotizing composition. Same goes for “The Way You Move” which has an interesting vocal on top that fits right in with the vibe. I’m also extremely excited to have Audiofly on the remix who have done a great job.”
There’s an inherent tribal element to the track which may conjure up the dense tropical heat of the Thai jungles as the rhythmic beat pulses through out. With haunting vocals simmering in and out, the aural experience builds and moulds into a distinctive and well crafted sound.
