BBM Review:

Shady Pines Salloon Fancy a drink back at the ranch? Sorry did we say a drink, we meant shed loads of drink as that’s exactly what you’ll get here at Shady Pines. One of Darlinghurst’s newest small bars, the décor is evidently Wild West inspired, with wooden carved Native Americans, the head of a long horned steer that takes up nearly half a wall, and all other manner of taxidermy items, there’s plenty to look at as you obliterate you liver to extinction. And too add to the shenanigans, there’s live country and western music four nights a week and a mechanical bull available for private parties. With bar tenders that know their stuff, you’ll soon be indulging in all sorts of drinks, and with the owners talking to just about everyone, you’ll probably feel so comfortable you won’t want to leave, or will at least stumble out and into the safety of a taxi a few hours after you first walked in for that ‘one pint’. Be sure to try the Mint Julep!
