She Can DJ Global in 2012. Minx and Alison Wonderland to Play Grammy and Brit Awards Parties

Following the phenomenal success of She Can DJ in 2011, EMI Music Australia is proud to announce that She Can DJ is not only back for 2012, but is going global! Later this week, She Can DJ winners Minx and Alison Wonderland take that message around the world, stepping it up to the next level by playing Grammy and Brit Awards EMI Music after parties as She Can DJ prepares to roll out globally within the next few months across other international territories.

Who could forget that incredible night at ivy last September where Australia and New Zealand’s Top 10 female DJ finalists competed on the decks for the ultimate prize of an EMI global recording contract.

Minx was crowned She Can DJ’s inaugural winner 2011 and due to the competitive high calibre of talent, Alison Wonderland also received a global EMI contract on the night.

Since that amazing night, both Minx and Alison Wonderland have travelled Australia and the world, including Ibiza to play end of season after parties at F**K Me I’m Famous at Pacha, Ibiza Rocks, plus countless Australian festivals; Stereosonic and Field Day amongst others.

On Friday March 2, Minx will release her first official EMI title, ‘She Can DJ Presents Minx’ and shares, “Winning She Can DJ has been an incredible experience. Not only have I played Ibiza, but I’m about to play EMI after parties at the Grammy’s in LA and Brit Awards London. It seems the possibilities are endless.”

As Sydney’s Alison Wonderland puts the finishing golden touches on her first official EMI compilation to be announced soon, she is still flying high with the news of her playing both EMI after parties at the Grammy’s and Brit’s soon, ‘I thought this was a wind up for about a week.. until I realised I’d been booked an around the world ticket!’

The callout for She Can DJ 2012 entries will be initiated in April. Stay tuned for further global deal details soon.
