Single Review: Chiddy Bang Featuring Travie McCoy & Icona Pop – Mind Your Manners

It sounds like a match made in heaven, we know, but Mind Your Manners isn’t exactly what you’d expect from this blend of artists. Icona Pop provide a kitch chorus that will get stuck in your head in no time at all.

Chiddy Bang enter with their vocals spitting over the slow rolling upbeat backing, whilst synths fuse in and out and the drum beat clips and snares.

Travie McCoy enters in the second verse with his well honed rapping, giving the track a bit more substance. However this tune is no doubt going to be a popular one with younger generations. It’s “Hip Pop” in its most evident form. So if you’re into more serious Hip Hop then this track isn’t really for you, but for a bit of light relief and if you’ve enjoyed tracks like Jay Z’s ‘Hard Knock Life’ then you’ll be into this.
