Single Review – Madonna – Give Me All Your Luvin’
Queen of Pop has returned with the launch single from her highly anticipated new album ‘MDNA’. Madge has teamed up with Martin Solveig to produce this insanely catchy 4 minutes of bubblegum pop that gay guys and teen girls around the world are going to go crazy for.
Opening with cheerleader chants that Nicola Roberts, Gwen Stefani and Daphne & Celeste would go mad for, the track is a electro pop ditty with the inclusion of acoustic guitars.
Finally sounding like she’s having fun again and ditching the moody programmed urban schmuck that was ‘Hard Candy’, Madonna finds herself back on the dancefloor where she belongs, with this track not sounding out of place on her ‘Music’ album or more importantly ‘Ray of Light’.
The track features bad girl M.I.A. and the ever present guest feature rapper Nicki Minaj, who rap of a dub influenced breakdown. It’s a sweet touch and works on some levels, yet mostly feels like a publicity stunt by having their names associated to the track.
“Luvin'” will be stuck in your head for days on end, but that’s cool because we L-U-V Madonna.
