Single Review: Reva DeVito – Friday Night
Oregon-based singer Reva DeVito has released the first single taken from her upcoming debut EP, which is due out in June via HW&W Recordings.
It is a simple, effective late-night track featuring Reva’s sultry vocals on top of 80s synths and a driving thumping beat. The production comes from Haiti-born Canadian artist Kaytranada.
He is slowly starting to make a real name of himself and this song and EP as well as his own solo album due sometime this year will no doubt establish him as one of the foremost producers in Electro and Hip-Hop. ‘Friday Night’ suggests Reva DeVito intends to bring more soul into Electro with her unique, warm voice.
