Single Review: Tall Ships – Gallop

Brighton based three-piece Tall Ships have been perfecting their progressive sound for years. After several critically acclaimed EPs, the band has recently put out their debut full-length entitled, ‘Everything Touching’.

‘Gallop’ is the second single to be taken from said album, and is a perfect example of their songwriting abilities. Its rolling drumbeats and driving guitar riffs will instantly take hold of your eardrums and give you a wholesome insight to both their past and present sounds.

Simple lyrics mixed with tender harmonies help push the song forward onto an epic climax that flawlessly rounds off what is surely one of the bands finest tracks to date.
