People from all over the world head to New Zealand to ski and it’s easy to see why. Perfect snow conditions matched with stunning surrounding scenery makes it an ideal location for a great skiing or snowboarding holiday.

Most of New Zealand’s skiing resorts are open between mid-June and the beginning of October, and can accommodate skiers of all ability levels, from complete novices to total pros. Should you fancy a break from skiing, there is always plenty to do in the local resort towns, and the off-mountain après ski scenes are always buzzing. Each skiing area of New Zealand differs from the other, so find out which one would suit you the best. Queenstown, Wanaka, Mount Ruapehu and Christchurch Canterbury are just to name a few.
