Snoh Aalegra releases mini album Don’t Explain

Swedish singer Snoh Aalegra has followed up her 2014 debut EP with a nine track mini album called Don’t Explain.
No I.D served as executive producer for he project and also produced two tracks on the project, “Under the Influence” and “Chaos.” Other producers featured on the project are Boi-1da, DJ Dahi and Christian Rich. When describing the album Snoh says, “There is no explanation needed for my music, my fans just press play and get me.”

The album is built to show off Aalegra’s impressive vocals and poignant songwriting. Under The Influence is a Winehouse inspired deep soul(ish) ballad with the help of John Mayer and some Alicia Keys string pizzicato. The artwork is a collage of Warhol inspired scenes of lovers and tells of a rose tinted romanticism and naivety that plays throughout the album. As is to say this is what it should look like, but in reality its more Pollock than Warhol.
