So with the first of the terrific trilogy of musical announcements out of the traps, Snowbombing has begun to assemble a white hot musical soundtrack, which will be built on in two more stages, to form the biggest, boldest and loudest line up on snow, including one of the greatest headline acts ever!

And as if that isn’t enough to create mischief-in-the-mountains, you can rest assured that the backdrops will blow your mind! The festival transforms a traditional alpine village into one of the biggest and most colourful party places in Europe, allowing Snowbombers to enjoy hearing their music amidst the mountains, rather than the mud and marquees. With the crown of ‘Best Overseas Festival’, Snowbombing will once again explode to a sublime soundtrack of the world’s best bands and DJs.

The Arctic Disco is an igloo village on a 2000m plateau, accessed by Austria’s biggest cable car. The Backcountry Parties take place in a 200 year old traditional wooden barn, we’ve discovered high in the ‘forgotten valley’ that is only reachable through a tunnel that cuts straight through the middle of a mountain!

When a bit of R & R is required, the resort boasts some of Europe’s most lavish spas and due to the nearby Tux Glacier (Austria’s most elevated point) is only a short (free) bus ride away, and although is open all year, is at its best in spring and in one of the latest season’s snow-sure locations.
