Sony Launches Xbox MusicAs part of the 2012 console update for Xbox 360, Xbox have launched a new all-in-one music service on par with ITunes, featuring free streaming on Windows 8 and Windows RT tablets and pc’s. The new service enables users access to a 30-million song global catalogue integrating music experiences across tablets, pc’s, phones and TV’s.

With the increase of new music services emerging on the web, it has become progressively more difficult for listeners to enjoy music, the way they want to experience it. Xbox Music aims to simplify this process with the introduction of an all-in-one music service, which offers immediate and comprehensive discovery across the different types of devices, giving users the freedom to stream custom created playlists for free and subscribe to all music intended for download.
