TRAVEL SOUTH AUSTRALIA

South AustraliaSouth Australia The under-rated region of South Australia has an epic coastline filled with buckets of different activities. Well-known for its Aussie rules football crowd, this is the place to be for a great atmosphere watching the game.
Everything is on your doorstep in Adelaide, it’s easy to get around and a great place to live. If you’re a bit of a wine connoisseur, you can taste fine wine from all over the country in the National Wine Centre of Australia. The wine capital of Australia, as it’s known, is home to some familiar wines like Jacobs’s Creek, Wolf Blass and Penfolds.
If you’re taste buds are becoming immune to a certain box of wine costing $10, then it’s time to head to Barossa Valley where some of the best wines in the world are on offer.
Two hours south of Adelaide is ‘one of Earth’s last unspoilt refuges’, Kangaroo Island. If you want to be at one with nature, the third largest island in Australia is the place to do so.
South Australia entices travellers with its annual events calendar of festivals and fairs. It is bursting with new things to try and is often overlooked by backpackers. Explore Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, Port Lincoln, Coober Pedy, Ceduna and perhaps the Nullabor Plain.
