Space presents Kehakuma: Geishas in Space at The Greenwood Hotel - NYD 2012SmallSydney’s hottest New Years Day dance party Space Ibiza plans to bring out Sydney’s inner Geisha with Space Presents Kehakuma

The Space brand is world famous for incredible production and wild and wacky themeing that makes for a surreal, exciting and sexy experience.

This year organisers plan to create a post-modern Japanese concept that distorts the cultural experience like sound warps from a Bassdrop set.

Stilt walkers, dancers, and carnival folk – join the Ibiza fun as they have in Space Ibiza since 1989.

Dress up post-modern, edgy and Japanese. Open the makeup kit and go for Kabuki colours – red, black, white and gold. Hitch up your kimono, grab your chopsticks – this year promises to be massive.

New to the bill -Drum & Bass legend Mr Doris – as well as Australia’s very own Royalston.

Space Ibiza organiser Paul Strange says, “just like in Spain we’re going all out. Party goers can expect a rich and memorable New Years Day filled with awesome experiences for all the senses.”

Space Pres Kehakuma is headlined by one of the world’s most highly regarded house and techno stars SETH TROXLER, and one of the best remixers and producers around – Rekids label head honcho RADIO SLAVE.

The line-up also includes EDDIE RICHARDS – Britain’s original godfather of house and techno and long standing Fabric resident with over 25 years behind the decks, and Parisian JEF K – one of Paris’s longest serving house deejays famous for club classic “In My System”.

Italian maestro and Space resident REMO – on the terrace since 2005, and UK underground house and badboy party monster GARRY TODD – whose credits include a six year residency at Spice After Hours and residency at Carl Cox’s revolution party also join the party.

Last year’s Festival favourite BASS DROP returns to host a room, with Hospitality Record’s hero B-COMPLEX and Dubstep Dynamos, CHASING SHADOWS.

Space organizers say some of Sydney’s finest local talent are being added to the line up, making Space’s opening party down under the hottest New Years Day ticket for house music fans.
