Splendour In The Grass 2015

Putting the spotlight firmly on beautiful Byron Shire this July, Splendour In The Grass will return on 24th – 26th July 2015.

Exactly what it says on the tin, the three-day festival is all about having a good time with friends, away from the strains of everyday life, in a picturesque region of New South Wales. Byron is an Australian icon; with its relaxing vibe and historic hippy nature, it has remained a consistently popular tourist destination – and is the best location to put on a festival. Encompassing this Byron nature, Splendour will be inviting you to North Byron Parklands to lay your eyes on some cool, exciting and sometimes terrifying artworks in the form of installation, dance and sculpture. There will also be live comedy every night, and the intense Global Village, where you can immerse yourself in burlesque, theatre, yoga, massage and even circus acts.

Of course, this wouldn’t be Splendour In The Grass without an epic line-up, and this year’s is all about British talent. All three headliners are from the UK, with Mark Ronson on Friday, Florence and the Machine on Saturday, and Blur on Sunday. There will also performances from The Wombats, Royal Blood, Jamie T, Catfish And The Bottlemen, The Vaccines, Years & Years and Wolf Alice. Playing on home soil will see psychedelic rock group, Tame Impala, after a stellar year, and electronic duos, Peking Duk and Flight Facilities, both of which always manage to deliver. With many more local and international names on the list, these three days will help you make incredible memories.
