Spotify Release Mobile Radio
Spotify, the free music service, is rolling out a new mobile radio feature for their mobile app as part of their next iOS update this week.
Features include: the ability to play everywhere and tap into millions of songs wherever you are; just like the desktop, mobile radio has the entire Spotify catalogue to choose from.
You can create your own personal radio stations. Based on any artist, album or playlist you can create radio stations to play music of a similar genre, so you can walk along, spring in step, listening to one great song after another.
And last but not least save the songs that you love the most. When you like a song, give it a thumbs up and it’ll be saved to a “Liked from Radio” play-list and will be available to listen whenever you want. Every time you give a song a thumbs up (or down), Spotify learns what you like and will be better suited to your tastes.
Similar to their desktop service, but it’s pretty handy to have the largest database of music on the go, for free don’t you think?
Sadly Android users will have to wait a little longer for this update, but iPhone and iPad users will be able to update their app in the next couple days.
