Described as ‘A festival experience about as pleasurable as you could hope for’, St Jerome’s Laneways Festival, taking place in January and February 2016, has just announced its impressive lineup.
With its origins in Melbourne as an indie music event, Laneways has expanded due to popularity to cover 5 cities in Aus in addition to Singapore, the United States and New Zealand. As always, this year’s lineup promises an eclectic combination of electronica, punk, pop and boundary-pushing hip-hop from both established and exciting up-and-coming artists. This includes the likes of CHVRCHES, Flume, Grimes, Purity Ring and Vince Staples, to name a few.
The first festival is to be held in Singapore on 30th January, before heading to Auckland, New Zealand for the 1st of February. From there, Laneways will be visiting Adelaide, Brisbane, Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney in early February, meaning there is no excuse not to attend, no matter where you are!
