St Kilda Festival 2016
Free and fun, St Kilda Festival is a celebration of summer in Melbourne’s lively beach suburb. Showcasing Australian artists on a live stage on the St Kilda foreshore, it returns from 6th February with an array of entertainment on offer.
Yalukit Wilum Ngargee kicks off St Kilda Festival with Indigenous art and music in O’Donnell Gardens. Featuring local and interstate musicians and community stalls, there’s plenty of relaxation and fun to be had. The following day on 7th February, Live N Local begins for seven days of free live performances in local venues. As well as music, there’ll be art exhibitions and outdoor activities to take advantage of the summer sun.
Festival Sunday is the biggest day, running on 14th February, with six stages including New Music Stage and Live N Local. Artists already announced include Ryan Downey, Mitch King, Owen Rabbit, REIKA and Neighbourhood Youth.
