Staff Picks: Horizon Festival

Horizon Festival is a seven day music extravaganza. Throw in some skiing and some paint balling and you’ve got yourself one really unique experience. The line-up is already looking incredible with the likes of funk aficionado Craig Charles joined by UK legend Goldie and one of the hottest names in house: Dan Shake. Here are some of our picks that you might not have on your itinerary, inbetween all the extra curricular follies.

Dan Shake is quickly carving his way through the scene with joints that will shake the snow clean off those slopes. He debuted his latest creation Northern Merry during his boiler room debut last month and it serves further notice that he’s here to stay.

This south london DJ likes to keep a low profile. But it’s going to be hard if he keeps coming up with tracks like this. An interview I read said that Wu’s influences come from some of the smartest and best musicians ever to walk the earth. He does them no harm with his own vision of genius.
