Stanton Warriors and free BBQ this Queen’s Bday!

Follow us on Google News

Do you like your music beefy, funk-filled and full of broken beats? No need to tell you about Stanton Warriors then as you probably devoted a ‘Like’ to their Facebook page already. The duo known as Stanton Warriors have been at the forefront of bass music ever since storming onto the scene in 2001 with their award-winning compilation, ‘The Stanton Sessions’, and arguably, they are the number one act in the world for all things breaks-related.

Disclosure, Annie Mac and Zane Lowe are just some of the industry insiders who rate the Stanton’s breaks, and their chart topping hits and remixes for the likes of Fatboy Slim, Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk and MIA have made them one of the most enduring electronic acts on the global scene. To be blunt, Stanton Warriors are scene legends.

The Warriors have made Melbourne a regular stop on their annual global circuit, and it really is one of the city’s most anticipated gigs of the year. The Stanton’s really are much-loved icons in that part of the world which always makes for one wicked party. The lovely chaps at earthcore, The Brink and Rock Like This have locked in Monday the 13th June at the Royal Melbourne Hotel for the Stanton’s yearly visit, which, conveniently, is a public holiday given to us by the Queen to celebrate her birthday (Thanks Ellie). Oh, and don’t worry about food as the ticket includes a free BBQ which will be served up from 7PM onwards.

As the Aussies would say, “Onya guys” (Which means thank you earthcore, The Brink and Rock Like This for throwing this party and giving us free food)
