Step Aboard The Hot Dub Time Machine – The World’s First Time-Travelling Dance Party!
Step aboard the HOT DUB TIME MACHINE, the World’s First Time-Travelling Dance Party!
***** Adelaide Advertiser, Adelaide Fringe 2012
A sell-out hit at the Sydney and Adelaide Fringes, DJ Tom Loud brings his late night festival interactive dance show back to Sydney for one night only. Using the top-secret carbon neutral energy source, “Hot Dub,” we’ll travel back in time to 1954 where, powered by your boogie, we’ll party our way through music history, back to 2012!
At the cutting edge of audio/visual mixing, Tom Loud steers the party through time using turntables and laptops with vision projected onto massive screens. It’s a guided journey through 60 years of pop culture – awesome music, with live video mash-ups, turntablism, dancing and booty shaking for everyone!
Joining Tom is Lulu Loud, cabin attendant and Time Lord, who appears on screen to introduce each decade, and demonstrate the special “power up” dance moves. Only through dancing can the time machine move forward. Accompanying the music are awesome clips of movies, TV and concerts from the time, see how much music has changed, and occasionally stayed the same!
Bring your dancing shoes, because without your boogie energy, the Tim Machine could get stuck in 1984, and no one wants that! OneAdventure Only! Blasting off on Saturday 28th April at the MetroTheatre.

‘DJ/VJ Loud mashes the f**k out of songs and videos to create an audio-visual orgy of awesomeness… It was hard to know whether to watch the big screen, sing along, laugh our socks off, or dance like maniacs.’
Bobby Six
‘Tom is a DJ after my own heart with the breadth of musical knowledge and the sense to know people like to dance to more than one style of music.’
