Get Ready For The Powers of Ten
Stephan Bodzin, widely regarded by many as one of the most influential DJ and producers of techno in the world, is making his way Down Under for a four-date tour.
Born in Germany to an experimental musician father, music is in his blood. He began his career as a classically trained musician, composing music for severe prestigious European theatres but soon he was attracted to the hypnotic, nocturnal sounds of techno and started to produce his own. The self-confessed ‘melody man’ revels in taking the audience through a journey of his own musical influences, studded with melodic rhythms and bass-heavy beats whether it be as a DJ at some of the biggest clubs and festivals in the world or on own his records.
Last year Bodzin released his second LP ‘Powers of Ten’ as well as a new single ‘Singularity’ on Life & Death, DJ Tennis and Tales of Us’ label. His emotionally charged, rhythmic techno captivates fans around the world and he is sure to make the same impact in Australia.
Bodzin kicks of his tour in Melbourne’s Brown Alley on Thursday 17th November alongside house legend MK for the smalltown crew, before heading to Chinese Laundry in Sydney on Friday 18th November, Strawberry Fields Festival in Victoria on Saturday 19th November and concluding at The Woolly Mammoth in Brisbane on Sunday 20th November.
